The Fairhaven Tote is a classy bag that features an attractive exterior front weave pattern, two interior slip pockets, one interior zipper pocket, and an interior key fob. It has an approximate 16" handle drop.
 
The pattern is written for non-fraying textiles such as faux leather, genuine leather, vinyl, or cork.
 
Waterproof canvas, cotton, linen, or other similar materials can be used for the interior lining. If using cotton or linen for the lining, the pieces will need to be backed with woven interfacing like SF101, Wovenfuse, or other similar weight interfacing. 
 
In addition, a stabilizer is needed to give the bag firmness. Decovil Light or other similar weight stabilizer should be used to stabilize the exterior of the bag. Decovil Heavy, Peltex, or other similar weight stabilizer can be used to stabilize the base of the bag.
 
Finished Size - 11"W (base) / 15"W (top)  x 12.75"H x 4"D

3/4 yard of material for the exterior (if you are using vinyl, faux leather, or cork, this is two 18” rolls. If you're using leather, this is 7 square feet)
1/2 yard of lining material
1/2 yard of woven interfacing for the lining (if using cotton, linen, or other similar fabric)
1/2 yard of Decovil Light stabilizer
4.25" x 12" Decovil Heavy stabilizer

1 – #5 Zipper cut to 9”
1 – Magnetic Snap
1 – 1/2" Swivel Clasp (optional key fob)

Purse Feet (optional)
