The "butterfly" style flap is held close with the strap in a unique way that is perfect for fending off pickpocketers, as wearing the bag keeps it tightly closed. One exterior zipper pocket, ideal for your cell phone, sits against your body, while the front exterior pocket is protected by the flap closure. An extra bonus? Zippers on the straps allow for easy conversion from a backpack to a sling!

In addition to the features mentioned above, the bag has an oval bottom, interior card slots, and an interior slip pocket.

Cotton, cotton canvas, faux leather, or genuine leather can be used to construct this bag. One exterior fabric can be used, or a contrasting fabric can be used for the straps and back/flap. Waterproof canvas, cotton, linen, or other similar materials can be used for the interior lining. If using cotton or linen for the lining, the pieces will need to be backed with woven interfacing like SF101, Wovenfuse, or other similar weight interfacing. In addition, a stabilizer is needed to give the bag firmness.
 
Decovil Light, foam, or fleece should be used to stabilize the exterior of the bag. Decovil Heavy, Peltex, or other similar weight stabilizer can be used to stabilize the base of the bag.
