Chicago Screws — or Chicago binding screws — are small, two-piece fasteners commonly used in leatherwork and bag making to securely join multiple layers of material or attach straps and belting to handbags, purses, and accessories. These versatile hardware pieces create a clean, finished look while offering a convenient no-sew solution for many applications.

Each screw consists of a threaded post and a coordinating cap that fasten together to hold materials firmly in place. Chicago screws are ideal for attaching straps, securing bag components, or adding structural support where stitching isn’t practical.

Can be installed using either a flathead or Phillips head screwdriver. For added security and longevity, we recommend Loctite Blue 242.
