Fusible. Sewable. Lightweight. Woven.
Classic Fuse by Simply Classic is a high-quality woven cotton interfacing, designed with bag making in mind. An excellent alternative to Pellon® SF101 Shape-Flex®*, Classic Fuse provides excellent support and structure to fabrics commonly used in bag linings, including cotton, cotton canvas, linen, lightweight wool, rayon, silk, and other lightweight fabrics. Classic Fuse woven interfacing is also ideal for quilting, garment and costume making, embroidery, and many other creative projects.
What makes Classic Fuse different?
Full-Surface Adhesive Backing
Unlike most fusible interfacings that use glue dots, Classic Fuse features a full-surface fusible adhesive for superior hold and smoother application. The entire cotton backing is coated with a heat-activated adhesive (sometimes called curtain glue backing). Get a professional result every time — no gaps, no bubbling.
More Material Per Yard
At 59" wide, Classic Fuse woven interfacing gives you more usable material per yard compared to leading competitors, making it perfect for bag making and larger sewing projects.

This comes packaged in a soft-fold single sheet (5 yards) in a resealable plastic bag so it stays clean when you put it away. IT STICKS! It cuts so easy and stays true to form. I did not experience any shrinking when fusing to cotton fabric. I use a heat press and the first time, I fused using a teflon sheet. It stuck but I was able to peel it apart after cooling. I refused that piece without the teflon sheet and all my other pieces without the teflon sheet - they fused beautifully and stayed in place. I tried to peel it from the fabric, it would pull the threads of the cotton apart before it would let loose. Thank you, Chris for yet another fantastic product. I highly recommend.
