This purchase is for a sewing pattern to construct the Compton, not a completed bag.

Materials List

• 1/2 yd of material for the main exterior (one 18” roll of faux leather)
• 1/2 yd of material for the contrast exterior (one 18” roll of faux leather)
• 1 1/2 yd of lining material
• 2 yd of Classic Fuse woven interfacing (if using cotton, linen, or similar fabric for the lining)
• 4” of 36” wide heavy stabilizer
• 4” of 36” wide light stabilizer
• 2 yd of double fold bias binding

• 1 – #5 Zipper Tape cut to 18.5”
• 1 – #5 Zipper Tape cut to 9”

Sewing Machine Requirements

It is important to know your machine and the materials that it can handle. If you are using real or faux leather, we recommend an industrial or heavy-duty domestic sewing machine. If you are using lightweight faux leather or cotton canvas, a domestic machine can be used. For best results, keep any woven interfacing out of the seam allowances on a domestic machine.
