The Lil’ Leah is a compact, crossbody version of the Leah tote. The pattern includes two size options, the Skinny and the Minnie. Both sizes feature a built-in divider to keep your standard size water bottle upright and within easy reach — no rummaging or unzipping required.

1/2 yd of material for the contrast exterior (one roll of 18” faux leather)
1/2 yd of lining material (waterproof canvas recommended)
1/2 yd of Classic Fuse woven interfacing (if using cotton, linen, or similar fabric for the lining)
18” x 36” light stabilizer
7” x 3” piece of heavy stabilizer
2 yards of ⅜” to ½” cording

Sewing Machine Requirements

It is important to know your machine and the materials that it can handle. If you are using real or faux leather, we recommend an industrial or heavy-duty domestic sewing machine. If you are using lightweight faux leather or cotton canvas, a domestic machine can be used. For best results, keep any woven interfacing out of the seam allowances on a domestic machine.
