The Kaplan Messenger Bag Hack – March Sew Along

📅 JOIN THE SEW ALONG ON MARCH 24: THE KAPLAN HACK

Join Chris Murphy of Simply Classic for a live sew along! We will be hacking the Kaplan pattern to make a masculine messenger bag.

This is an online event that will take place via Zoom on Wednesday, March 24, 2026 at 1 pm EDT (10 am PDT). It is not a traditional class or workshop; our goal is to create an experience that feels like we’re all gathered in a virtual room, sewing side by side. You may choose to keep your camera on or off — whatever you're more comfortable with. Click here to preview the sew along schedule.

When you register, you will automatically receive an email with a .ZIP file that contains:

• The Kaplan PDF pattern (retail value: $19.99)
  
• Pattern changes and measurements for additional pieces to cut out before the Zoom
  
• Sew along schedule/agen
• Link to join the sew along on Zoom

We will send a reminder email one hour before the event begins. The sew along is expected to run approximately four hours. A link to the Zoom recording will be emailed within two business days after the event.
